Upgrading to Windows 8 costs £43, compared to £88 for the full software package or £399 for the new Microsoft Surface tablet running with Windows 8. Some of my friends told that it is a little bit expensive and complicated. I do not want to have more complications while using the operating system. What is your opinion about this?

Hey, thank you for the quick reply. It turns out that NX wasn’t enabled in the BIOS. I tried enabling this and it worked perfectly fine. I am now running Windows 8 on all the computers. Thank you for the help. I am new to Windows 8 though. Can I find more articles on this here? Thank you again!

Hi Barry, In order to install Windows 8, the CPU should support Physical Address Extension, NX and SSE2. These features are available on almost all the machines now. It is likely that NX is not enabled in your BIOS. Try enabling this and revert me back if this does not help you!

I am currently working as a technical advisor in a firm up in New Orleans. And now, I am helping them with upgrading their operating software from Windows 7 to Windows 8. It was installed without a problem on all machines except one. The system does satisfy the requirements to run Windows 8. Can this be fixed? Help me!

I also doubt whether I will be able to use Windows 8 as easily as other operating systems. I am not very experienced in using computers so I think if it will be hard if I install an advanced operating system for my first computer. I don’t want to spend too much time learning to use a new OS.
